Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect the things you actively send to AskQ, and the minimum needed to run the service:

• Your content — the notes, photos, PDFs and forwarded emails you send to your @askq.chat address or to AskQ on WhatsApp.
• Your WhatsApp number — used to identify your account and reply to you.
• Basic usage records — e.g. how many scans you've used, for billing and limits.

2. How we use it

Your content is used for one purpose: to answer your questions. Each user's memory is isolated — no one else can query it, and we don't combine your data with other users'. We use trusted AI providers to read and understand documents; we do not allow your content to be used to train their public models.

3. What we never do

• We never sell your data — to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone.
• We never use your stored content to advertise to you.
• We never message you outside WhatsApp for marketing.

4. How we contact you

We only message you on WhatsApp — replies to your questions, and (if you've opted in) helpful reminders and summaries. You can stop automated messages anytime by replying STOP, or get help with HELP.

5. Storage & security

Your memory is stored in a private store that is isolated to your account and kept separate from every other user's. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your personal records with the care we'd want for our own.

6. Your control

• Delete anytime — message AskQ on WhatsApp and we'll delete your entire memory for you. (Self-service deletion from Settings is coming soon.)
• Stop messages — reply STOP on WhatsApp at any time.
• Export / access — request a copy of what's stored about you.
